Marshall's Meats

With deep roots in Winchester and a dream of owning their own business, Tyler and Carrie  saw the opportunity as exactly what they had been looking for. “We wanted to make this something of our own and use this as a vessel to help the community, grow the community, and offer employment and growth,” Tyler said.  Although they had no prior experience in the meat processing and market industry, they jumped in headfirst, learning everything they could from the previous owners.

In late 2024, a fire destroyed their shop, leaving them with significant loss and uncertainty. Tyler recalls standing with his wife, taking in what little remained, when a P1FCU car pulled into the parking lot. At first, he assumed they would be asked about future loan payments, but instead, they were met with compassion and support.

“They came up to my wife and me and asked, ‘How can we help you? We want to see you strive and continue forward,’” Tyler shared. “To me, that is irreplicable.” He continued to share that he loves how P1FCU treats them like family.

Today, Tyler and Carrie remain committed to rebuilding Marshall’s Meats and continuing the work they started; supporting local ranchers, providing quality products, and creating opportunities within their community. Through both the challenges and their milestones, their focus hasn’t changed: to build something meaningful that serves others and reflects the values they care about most. With the support of partners like P1FCU and the community around them, they’re moving forward with determination and a clear sense of purpose.
