Born and raised in Milton-Freewater, the Hodgen family has always valued community. “It’s kind of a dream of ours to be able to give back to the community,” Tavis shared. From the beginning, the goal was to build something that would support local families, create opportunity, and stay rooted in the place they call home.
At the start, Taylor managed the office while his father and brother handled field work. As the business grew, so did the team. Their first hire, Sebastian, joined through a trade connection and has been with them ever since. Two years into the business, Taylor shared that his mom, Amy, officially joined the business, helping support daily operations and customer calls.
Their relationship with P1FCU started when Tyson was helping wire the credit union’s Walla Walla branch. As the business grew, the Hodgens heard from other contractors and local business owners who were also choosing P1FCU. That connection led them to move their accounts and build relationships with the local branch.
“They know more about our lives than I had initially anticipated,” Taylor shared as he reflected on the personal connections they have built with the team members at the Walla Walla branch.
As the business continues to grow, their focus remains the same: delivering quality work, building lasting relationships, and giving back to the community they call home
