Meet Justo

I was born in Southern Idaho and grew up in Northern Utah. I met my wife in St. George, Utah, and we decided to move to Boise in the fall of 1998. And we have been here ever since.  

My father was an entrepreneur, and having that firsthand experience of how banks could help a business succeed was inspiring to me. Additionally, I fondly remember going to the bank with my father and seeing all the nice people in suits and ties, and I wanted to do that when I grew up.  

Running a business is more complex than it appears, and owners often need guidance to navigate challenges as they arise. As a business-focused lender, I serve as a sounding board, connector, and resource, helping to address growth hurdles while understanding the story behind the numbers. It’s especially rewarding to support the local economy by seeing access to capital lead to new jobs, stronger businesses, and sustainable growth for future generations.  

One thing on my bucket list is travel. I want to go to the airport without a destination in mind, look for the next standby flight, and go somewhere I’ve never been before and see what adventure unfolds.
