Photo Contest Rules

P1FCU 2018 Calendar Photo Contest

Photo Entries

  • Entry is free, unconditional, and does not depend on the purchase of or payment for credit union services

  • Members must provide a digital copy of all photographs. Please submit your photograph entries to our Facebook page or website

  • Form entry must include member’s name, photo caption, email address, and county in which the photo was taken.

  • All photographs must be original

  • Please do not include photographs of people

  • Any material that is libelous, defamatory, profane, or obscene will be disqualified

  • Photograph entries will be accepted from P1FCU members only

  • Members are limited to one (1) entry into the photo contest

  • P1FCU employees, officials, and members of their immediate family are eligible to submit photos for judging

  • Amateur photographers only – professional photographers or any entity who seeks to gain professional recognition or profits from photographs are not eligible to submit entries

  • We ask that photos are shot landscape (horizontally) at 300 dpi, 11’ by 9’

Photo Judging

  • Judging will be based on characteristics such as use of color, composition, and originality

  • Officials of the contest reserve the right to reject any photograph that does not conform to regulations, is deemed to be objectionable, or which is of an inappropriate subject matter

Contest Timeline

  • All entries must be submitted to P1FCU by the end of business day on March 24th, 2017

  • Members that submit winning entries will be notified no later than end of business day on March 31st, 2017

Contest Awards

  • P1FCU will select 13 winners to appear in our 2018 calendars

  • Winning is limited to one calendar month per member. Each member can only enter one (1) time

  • Selected winners of the contest will agree to have their photo published in the P1FCU 2018 calendar which will be distributed to thousands of credit union members. A copy of the calendar will be sent directly to all contest winners whose photographs appear in the calendar

  • Members’ first names as well as the name of the county in which the photo was taken will appear on the image in the calendar
     

Submit Photo
 

By submitting a photo, the participating member acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions of this photography contest as stated on the contest rules page. The participating member agrees to all terms of this contest voluntarily, and of his/her own accord. The participating member acknowledges that the image he/she has entered in the P1FCU photography contest is solely his/her own creation and free from any and all copyright restrictions that may hinder lawful reproduction for promotional use. The participating member understands that entering this contest constitutes permission to publish any and all photos he/she has entered in the P1FCU Annual Calendar. By entering this contest, the participating member permits his/her photo to be displayed on any electronic website under the control or direction of P1FCU. The participating member understands that his/her name and photo description may be published in the Annual Calendar or on the website along with any or all of his/her photo entries.
