Idaho Food Bank Senior Nutrition Program Volunteers

P1FCU employees regularly volunteer at the Idaho Food Bank to help pack food for the Senior Nutrition Program. This program improves the health of low-income seniors at least 60 years of age, by adding nutritious food to their diets. Our volunteers spend multiple Saturday mornings a year packing boxes with healthy foods like fresh apples and easy prep meals. During the Million Meals in March Campaign we also held a food drive and our staff and members donated over 300 lbs of food plus monetary donations and picked up extra volunteer shifts. The Idaho Food Bank helps thousands of local families and individuals with food insecurity every month and we are proud to partner with them to help our community members.
