Economic Impact Payment Information

Money Spread OutWe understand members may be facing financial struggles, so we are here to help with credible information about the Economic Impact Payments.  The IRS is released Economic Impact Payments direct deposits starting Wednesday, April 15th, and mailing checks began on April 13th, 2020.  The payments will be automatic for most taxpayers, and no further action is needed by those who filed taxes in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees.  Click here for the IRS Economic Impact Information Center to see who is eligible and what your expected amount of the Economic Impact Payment.


Federal Income Tax Filers can use the Get My Payment Portal to check your payment status, confirm your payment type and enter direct deposit account information if the IRS hasn't sent your payment yet.  There are also tips here if you have moved since you have last filed.



If you didn't file federal income taxes in 2018 or 2019 because your gross income was under $12,200 ($24,000 for married couples) or you weren't required to file for other reasons, you might still be eligible for an Economic Impact Payment.  Here is more information for Non-Filers, including eligibility.
