Potlatch No.1 Federal Credit Union collects standard non-identifying information about visits to its website, such as date and time visited, IP address, city, state, and country. Use of this information is restricted to compiling standard statistics that measure the use of the site. Visitors to P1FCU's website remain anonymous until they choose to provide personal information either to apply online for credit union accounts or services, or in order to access personal account information which P1FCU makes available online. Our data system records certain information when members access their personal account information in this way, including the transactions they conduct online. This data enables us to process and confirm those transactions, and minimize the potential for fraud. Certain areas of P1FCU's website may use cookies (small, non-harmful temporary text files stored on members' computers) to facilitate the delivery of personal financial services online, but these cookies are designed to expire at the end of each visit, further guaranteeing our members' personal information.

All of the information you send to us through Home Branch is encrypted (scrambled) for security and privacy purposes.

When e-mails or instant messages are sent to P1FCU, we may retain the content of the e-mails or the transcripts of instant messages, the e-mail addresses or user names of the senders, and our responses-all in order to better answer any follow up questions or requests that might arise. III. Members' Role in Preserving Privacy

Members can proactively assist P1FCU in the protection of their privacy-by safeguarding their member numbers, personal identification numbers (PINS) and passwords, by changing their passwords periodically, and by taking care to sign off of P1FCU's website after accessing personal information online.
